insomnia, decaf

Dang, I can't get to sleep. And I was hoping to be fresh for my first day in the office tomorrow. I did have a couple of coffees today, but both were decaf. I guess decaf doesn't mean 100% decaf. Anyway I found a good link on dealing with insomnia, so I have a plan. I'm going to crank through some emails, and if that doesn't get me tired, I'll do a bit o' reading.

When I can not sleep, I listen to the sounds of the night (step outside if you can), observe the sky, look at the stars, for constallations, or watch the moon, or just the clouds...even listening to the sound of the rain...becoming aware of my breaathing ...feeling the night...the sensation of my senses...savor the moment ...and become calm...
then go to bed, nestle in and go to sleep..
